Open The Door: Being A Lead Singer / Front Person
This course is designed to support students stepping into the role of being a lead singer or front person of an ensemble with confidence. From improving their instrument skills, to being confident on stage, to learning how to interact with a crowd and liaise with the venue staff, to preventing people from grabbing your microphone — and the rest. This is a holistic, 9-session course that can be done within your own individual timeframe.
What does the course include?
Pay for 8x 60-minute sessions and receive 9. Starting with The First Step, we will work with you to design a course flow and structure that’s going to suit you best. The 9th session will be 1:1 Mentoring with either Jess or Jodie, and the 7 sessions in between are completely your choice from our collection of lessons: Instruments, Performance, or The Business.
Total cost $600.00 (save $75)
Payment is requested up front in full before course commencement.
Who is the course for?
The Being A Lead Singer / Front Person course is for vocal students (who may or may not also play an instrument) who are looking to become a front person, or who already hold that role in an ensemble. It’s expected that the same number of hours’ practise is completed as the number of hours of the course to ensure you see progress in your abilities.
What will you get out of it?
As well as a free mentoring session and a holistic overview of a pathway to being a kick-a$$ front person, you will also have the opportunity to have some video footage of you performing in The Music Room which will set you in good stead with content to start building your portfolio!
